Quintessential Holmes

This has got to be the most brilliant production of Sherlock holmes….its aired on History channel at 9 p.m on tuesday nites n repeats on sunday morning 11 a.m.

It has Jeremy Brett as sherlock Holmes and i think this the best Sherlock Holmes ever….he seems to have captured the essence of Holmes brilliantly…the emotionless face…the thoughtful gestures….awesome!

And David Burke does a good job of playin the part of Holmes sidekick – Dr. Watson….

Its pretty sad that with Brett no more, we cannot expect new episodes of the serial and these episodes will remain a classic…

A must watch serial…..

  1. How old are you again? 5? 6? ๐Ÿ˜€

Holmes may have had the stories, but its just not technologicaly capable of standing upto the newer movies. Its kinda a drag to watch old movies now.

its the story and essence of the story that is great…ot mite not b advanced in technology but has quite a few superior production values…
