What is this obsession that people have with moles? No not the woodland creatures but that spot of thick skin, that can either add to your beauty (case in point:Cindy Crawford) or make you ugly/villainous (case in point: Bollywood villains!) as the case may be.

Every woman who has a mole on her face thinks she is the next Cindy Crwaford. Hey guess what, Enrique got his surgically removed!

But the best case of a mole (you’ll get the pun soon) is in austin power where the mole has a real mole on his face! What a riot!

*Sigh* this movie reminds me of the movie Boys. Maybe because both have Genelia Dsouza in it. I am dying to watch Jaane Tu Jaane Na. The movie sounds very similar to boys, atleast the romance bit. And *ahem* Mr Nair promised to take me for this one, but looks like I’ll end up watching it with my friend from process!

I watched the Happening and well…nothing Happened! Even though Signs was trashed it had some substance in it - that everything happens for a reason. But this seemed like a movie that was commissioned by Al Gore.

I was restless yesterday because I was sick and I came across some awesome stand-up comedy by Jerry Seinfeld..love that guy!

Wow, I am definitely getting a Tiffany’s ring when I get engaged. Sigh..they cost the earth, literally!

I love these two rings:

i was just watching the old movie Pardes and oh god!

The whole story is flawed! I am sure Subhash Ghai must have been thinking to himself everytime he came to that party of the story where it was stupid- It could happen…

And Mahima Chaudhury…where DID he discover her?? She can’t act!No, no, wait…she can act, but only overact. She kept screaming and screeching through the movie.

And the songs - it was like Anu Mallik had written them when he was high.

Sometimes I think Bollywood/Tollywood/Mollywood and other woods should just produce music. They should decide on making a movie, make the sound track for the movie but not make the movie itself!

Case in point: I’ve been listening to this song through the day (while I was working). The movie Heart Beat was so stupid. I couldn’t believe I even wasted time watching it..

Chapter 1

Unnithan got out of the bus. A new life he thought..and a new land. He had enough money to rent a small shop and start a tea stall. This seemed a peaceful place. Well he didn’t exactly have the time to decide where to move, did he?

Unnithan took his cloth bag with his collection of belongings – a book with a peacock feather in it, an old newspaper, rs 25000 in cash and a gold chain, and set out to the village square. He looked for a rival tea shop or a tiny way side lunch room where people would congregate. He needed to find the right people to get his foot in the door. At the village square he saw an old man sitting and reading a newspaper. He went up and asked –

Ivade chaya kada indo (is there a tea stall nearby?)

The man nodded a negative.

Alla, ivade valla tea shaap indo? (is there a tea shop nearby?)

The man still nodded a negative.

He then looked up and said: Kalle shaap inde, madhiyo? (There is a shop selling toddy)

Unnithan stared at the man. Even for Unnithan, a man who drank religiously everynight, this was too much.

Thane enne kali aakano? (are you teasing me?) He asked, a bit angry.

Illiya. Avade noku (no, look there).. and he pointed to a toddy shop.

Ende guruvayurappa he muttered. He loved swearing. It sounded like he was one of the upper-caste.

He walked up to the Toddy Shop and laid his bag down.

A fat lady came and gave him a irritated look.

Endha, endha vende? (what do you want?) she asked him.

Alla chechi, evade valadhum kudikyan kitto? (will I get something to drink?)

She laughed sarcastically and replied: evade kudikya cheiyu….(people only drink here)

And she went in to get some toddy.

And by popular demand the one word that describes Tia *Drum rolls*: Annoying!

That is my breakthrough for the month. No, not through therapy but through introspection.

I keep wondering why I am annoying, and then I realized I over communicate! Not an epiphany I tell ya.

I just remembered a story i read about Oprah where she spoke about one of her dates who didn’t treat her well..and how she decided not to let anybody treat her bad. I have kept that article with me.

So I have decided to test myself. See I just can’t shut up nor can I not chat or sms. Okay I kinda kicked the habit of texting. The only msgs I send are - I am on my way or I am coming or I am late to my colleagues in my van. And the only other msgs are to my friend/colleague.

I have decided to not speak (unless spoken to - I can’t keep quiet in front of my boss! she’d think I am being arrogant) and no more chatting AND no more blogging for a week till July 7th.

I think I’ll have many notepad/word files on my desktop at the end of this exercise!*chuckle*

What is the worst thing you could do to yourself?

Not believe in yourself.

I seem to have developed this very business like manner to myself - I don’t do anything if I don’t think I am worth it. I don’t even think too highly of myself (though you are welcome to!).

I mean let’s say I wanted to go gliding (a very random example), then i’d spend a month wondering whether I should do it or not, whether it is worth the money. Then I’ll sit and wonder - what if I can’t do it? Then I’d be wasting time and money, and the wild goose chase for reassurance from myself continues. And if it is anything that costs more than Rs. 2000 lets say like a GMAT exam, then don’t even bother selling me the idea.

Et tu Tia?
